Who am I?
My name is Noel (rhymes with "soul"). I'm a full-stack software developer, educator, and researcher of applied linguistics. I began teaching myself to code in 2018 in order to develop software for my master's thesis, and it has since grown into my passion. I currently live in Kyoto Japan, where I am a part-time lecturer and PhD candidate at Kyoto University.

What can I do for you?
As a full-stack web developer with additional experience in data science, and 3D game design, I can draw on a wide range of skills to build functional and attractive web apps and services. I have acted as tech lead for several full-stack web apps and enjoy taking on leadership roles. As a team member, I pride myself on being able to see the big picture, investing in architecture and design choices that promote consistency and ease of development over the course of a project.
